Many events of major significance in the Old Testament take place in Egypt. The Sojourn of the Israelites, the Exodus, the dividing of waters, the wilderness wandering, giving of the Ten Commandments to Moses. All this takes place on Egyptian soil!

Tour Day 1:
Arrive in Cairo A/P, meet and transfer to hotel.
Tour Day 2: Old Cairo Churches
Visit the Coptic Museum of Coptic antiquities and icons. Visit churches: El
Moalaka (suspended) built in the 5th cen. AC. Abu Serga built it in the 4th
cen. AC. Over the cave where the Holy family sheltered is St. George Greek Orthodox church. At Maadi, visit the Virgin Mary church at the shore of their departure point to Upper Egypt by sail boat, plus see the Holy Bible found floating opened to “Blessed be Egypt My People” -Isa. 19 : 25. Visit Coptic Cathedral where the remains of St.Mark are. Stay here for the night.
Tour Day 3: Pharaonic Cairo
Visit the Egyptian Museum, the Pyramids & Sphinx of Guiza (One of the world’s 7
wonders) plus step Pyramids of Sakkara.
Stay here for the night.
“These are the Journeys of the Children of Israel which went forth out
of the land of Egypt with their armies under the hand of Moses & Aaron”
-Numbers 33:1.
Tour Day 4: Sinai
On the way to St. Catherine Monastery stop at Elim (stop no. 7 of Ex.)
“And they removed from Morah, and came unto Elim, and in Elim were twelve
fountains of water, and three score and ten palm trees, and they pitched
there” -Numbers 33 :9. Proceed to Dophkah (stop no. 9 of Ex.), “And they took
their journey out of the wilderness of Sinai, and encamped in Dophakah” -Numbers 33:12. Proceed to the temple of Sarabit El Khadem, arrive at St. Catherine (Mount of God).
Tour Day 5: Mount of God/ Holy Ground
At dawn, climb Mount of God, main stop of the Exodus, of the Ten Commandments
given to Moses by God Himself. And the Lord came down upon mount Sinai, on the top of the mount “and the Lord called Moses up to the top of the mount, and Moses went up” -Ex. 19:20. Later, visit St. Catherine Monastery, Basilica Church and
Burning Bush; “And he said draw not higher “put of thy shoes from of thy
feet, for the place whereon thou standest is Holy Ground” -Ex. 3:5.
Proceed to visit the Shrine of Prophet Aaron.
Then back to Cairo for the night.
Tour Day 6: 1st World Monastery/Red Sea
Visit St. Anthony’s Monastery, God father of priests- Founder of
Monasticism. The Monastery houses 5 churches and a library with thousands of
books. If possible, also visit the Monastery of St. Paul that houses 4 churches
and a library.
Then back to Cairo for the night.
Tour Day 7: Wadi Natroun Monasteries
The stop of the Holy family, visit Suiriani Monastery and Anba Bishoy Monastery (residence of Pope Shenouda III, successor no. 117 of St. Mark the Apostle).
Then back to Cairo for the night.
Tour Day 8: Departure
Transfer to Cairo A/P for departure.

Tour Day 8: Nile cruise trip Aswan/Luxor
Transfer to Cairo A/P to fly to Aswan for a Nile Cruise, lunch, Felucca ride and dinner.
Tour Day 9: Kom Ombo
Visit High Dam & Philea Temple then sail to Kom Ombo and
visit the temple of Kom Ombo. Sail to Edfu.
Tour Day 10: Edfu Temple
Visit Edfu temple then sail to Luxor to visit the West Bank.
Tour Day 11: East Bank
Check out the cruise in Luxor.
Vsit the East Bank and then transfer to A/P for flight to Cairo. Arrive and transfer to hotel.
Tour Day 12: Departure
Check out and transfer to Cairo A/P for departure.
