This itinerary can be done alone or combined with other Netherlands or Belgium itineraries.
Day 1: Amsterdam
Today enjoy a full day tour of Amsterdam including Anne Frank’s Museum, The Van Gogh Museum, and The Rijksmuseum. You will also take a canal cruise and visit the Diamond Factory. This Evening you will have a tour of the Red Light District.

Day 2 : Amsterdam – Aalsmeer – The Hague – Delft
Early Breakfast at the hotel
The Aalsmeer Floraholland-Auction requires an early start from Amsterdam. Here you’ll see the world’s largest auction in floricultural products.
‘Den Haag’ (The Hague) is the current Royal residence and where government is based. Visit the Gemeente museum where the main paintings of the Mauritshuis Museum (closed for renovation until 2014) are on display including images of ‘Girl With the Pearl earring’ and ‘Delft View’ by Vermeer.
In the afternoon transfer to Delft, the Dutch city known for the Delft Blue pottery. A visit to Royal Delft will prove enlightening for anyone with an interest in this unique ceramic.

Overnight Amsterdam
Day 3: Zaanse Schans – Volendam – Marken – Rotterdam
Morning visit to Zaanse Schans. See well-preserved historic windmills, houses, clog & cheese factories and the very first Albert Heijn shop – now the biggest supermarket NL chain. Continue on to the traditional fishing villages of Volendam and Marken, where traditional Old Dutch costumes are still worn. A ferry will give access to Volendam where strolling around the promenade is essential. Then on to Rotterdam.

Day 4: Rotterdam – Kinderdijk – Haarzuilens
The modern architecture can be appreciated by a morning Spido cruise or an architecture tour.
A visit to Euromast offers a view over Rotterdam from 100 metres up. The harbours, skyline and ‘celebrities’ such as the Kuip (football stadium), Hotel New York and the Erasmus bridge are visible.
This afternoon you will visit to one of the Unesco Heritage Windmills.
From windmills of Kinderdijk to the tiny town of Haarzuilens, offering the fairytale castle & gardens, where, from time to time the Royal family spend holidays in September.
Overnight Rotterdam
Day 5: Venlo – Maastricht
Have a guided visit to Floriade 2012 in Venlo: World Horticultural Expo. Celebrated in Netherlands only once in every 10 years. (Open from 05th April to Mid Oct 2012)
Continue to Maastricht where you’ll visit of the St Pitersburg caves and St Servatius Basilica
