Germany: Christmas Markets- 7 days/6 nights

Day 1: Arrive Berlin

Arrival in Berlin, check in at your hotel and enjoy a brief orientation before having some time to relax. Tonight dinner is included at the hotel.

Day 2: Berlin

After Breakfast, a guided tour of Berlin and all its many attractions like the Brandenburg gate, the Reichstag and the Wall, will take you on a journey through culture, art and history before experiencing the magic of one of Berlin’s many Christmas markets.

Day 3: Berlin – Leipzig – Dresden

Say “auf wiedersehen” to the German capital as you head south towards Leipzig where you’ll have a visit to Bach’s Thomas Church and the Medieval Market square. The tradition of the Christmas market in Leipzig dates back to 1767, and is well known for its unique range of musical and culinary delights. Afterwards travel further to Dresden, the capital of Saxony, that due to its works of art is known as “The Florence by the Elbe River”. Orientation tour, dinner and check in at your hotel where you’ll overnight.

Day 4: Dresden

Visit of the Semper Opera and the Zwinger Palace in the morning, lunch and afterwards afternoon will be spent at “ Strietzelmarkt”, one of the oldest Christmas markets in Germany, which dates back from 1434.

Day 5: Dresden – Nuremberg

Departure for Nuremberg the city of the world famous “Christkindlmarkt” the market that with its culinary specialties and Gluehwein attracts over two million tourists every year. After a brief city tour of Nuremberg the remainder of the day will be spent at the market.

Day 6: Nuremberg – Munich

After breakfast departure for Munich. In the capital of Bavaria with all its attractions you will need a full day sightseeing including the City Hall, Frauenkirche and the Olympic stadium, just to mention a few. Stroll around the traditional Christkindl market on Marienplatz and listen to the evening advent music from the balcony of the City Hall.

Munich – Airport – Home

Transfer to Munich Airport and depart.
