Day One
“Rise and shine” to a wonderful southern morning. Today, tee off on one or more of the Gulf Coast’s captivating golf courses. Immerse yourself in planning the best approach to navigate the lush landscape and surrounding natural habitats – cypress swamps, plant bogs, longleaf pines and oak groves. Some signature courses to consider are Fallen Oak, designed by Tom Fazio (private to Beau Rivage patrons); The Preserve, a Jerry Pate design; Grand Bear by Jack Nicklaus; The Bridges, designed by Arnold Plamer; Shell Landing, by Davis Love III, and The Oaks, winner of numerous awards and accolades, and hosted several major tournaments. No matter what time of year, the Mississippi Gulf Coast boasts playable conditions. Whatever your age or skill level, you won’t be able to resist being swept away by the charms of our coastal courses.
Enjoy a delicious lunch at any of the Clubhouse grills offering a wide variety of entrees.
There’s no reason not to go for another round, guys!
For dinner, your choices are endless. Enjoy a delicious meal at Mary Mahoney’s Old French House, one of the Gulf Coast’s best known fine dining restaurants. Or grab some barbeque at The Shed BBQ & Blues Joint, 2010 champion of the Ultimate Hometown Grill-Off on the Regis and Kelly Show. Our restaurants are easy to find; deciding what to eat will be the hard part.
After dinner, enjoy live Vegas-style entertainment, great local bands or try your luck at any of our 11 Gulf Coast casino resorts.
Day 2
Why not head to the water for a great day of fishing. With harbors and marinas located across the Mississippi Gulf Coast, it’s easy to catch a boat and reel in the big one! The beautiful waters around the barrier islands in the Mississippi Sound and offshore in the Gulf of Mexico are bountiful with a wide variety of fish. Favorite catches include Speckled Trout, Red Snapper, Grouper, Mahi-Mahi, Redfish and Cobia. The popularity of sport fishing has attributed to the numerous tournaments and rodeos held annually and the mild climate allows for year-round fishing fun.
