Day 1: Arrive Dublin
Arrive at Dublin Airport and transfer to the city center for a 2-night stay. Have a Dublin City Tour, visiting St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Dublin’s oldest Christian site, dating back to the time of St. Patrick. See the Book of Kells in Trinity College. Drive through Phoenix Park and visit the Guinness Storehouse. Tonight enjoy a welcome dinner and reception at the hotel.

Day 2: Dublin
Discover more of Dublin today on your own. Stroll through St. Stephens Green, the finest Georgian Square in Europe. Do some shopping on fashionable Grafton Street or in the Powerscourt Townhouse. Perhaps walk to Smithfield and visit the Old Jameson Distillery, where you will see the birthplace of some of Ireland’s finest. Go to The Abbey Tavern this evening and enjoy the Craic (pronounced “crack” and it’s an Irish for having fun!) at this long-established Irish pub as the world-famous ‘Abbey Tavern Musicians and Singers’ entertain you.

Day 3: Dublin – Kildare – Tipperary – Cork – Kinsale
After shaking the cobwebs from last night away meet your driver and begin your tour of Ireland by driving south through Kildare and Tipperary into Cork. See Blarney Castle, where a kiss of the Blarney Stone is said to impart eloquence. Perhaps do some shopping at the Blarney Woolen Mills, where
you will find everything from clothing to crystal, all Irish-made. Drive to Kinsale, Ireland’s gourmet capital, for another night of food and drink.

Day 4: Kinsale – Killarney – Dingle
Depart Kinsale this morning and drive through incredibly scenic West Cork into County Kerry. Stop in
Killarney to see Muckross House and the Killarney National Park. Have a boat ride on the Lakes of Killarney and enjoy the buzz of Killarney Town. Continue to the Dingle Peninsula for a 2-night stay. Overnight Dingle Town
Day 5: Dingle
Explore the ruggedly majestic Dingle Peninsula today; see some of the most breath-taking views in Ireland at Slea Head and Connor Pass. Perhaps learn some Irish to take home with you in this area that has remained a gaeltacht (Irish-speaking region). Return to Dingle and perhaps enjoy a boat ride in Dingle Harbor. If you are lucky you may see Funghi the dolphin who has been a resident of the harbor for over 20 years. This evening visit one of the many live music pubs Dingle has, playing live music every
night.

Day 6: Dingle – Bunratty – Cliffs of Moher – Lahinch
After breakfast drive north to County Clare, stopping to see Bunratty Castle and Folk Park, for a glimpse into 19th century Ireland. Have lunch at the infamous Durty Nelly’s Pub. Continue to see the Cliffs of Moher. Stay tonight in Lahinch, a very local seaside town, most famous for its links golf. Take a trip to nearby Doolin tonight for a night at the music pubs.

Day 7: Lahinch – Galway
Drive north to Galway City for your final night in Ireland. En route drive through the lunar-like Burren region. Arrive in Galway, the west of Ireland’s cultural capital. Have a short tour of the city and then some time to explore it on your own. The city offers an array of interesting shops, unique galleries, and lively music pubs. Have a farewell dinner with live Irish entertainment tonight in Galway.

Day 8: Galway – Airport – Home
Transfer to Shannon Airport and depart Ireland.
