Day 2 – Drummondville
Ft. Lennox is considered a perfect example of British military engineering in North America. We’ll stop there, at the House of Patriots in St. Denis, and at Ulverton Mills on our way to Le Petite Village Quebecois in Drummondville. Costumed interpreters will show us life in 18th century Quebec.

Trois Rivieres was the second French city established in North America. The city maintains a great deal of charm and accessibility that made it a traveler’s destination as early as the 18th century. This morning, we’ll visit the Iron Forges, Museum of Folk Culture, and the Pulp and Paper Exhibition Center at Trois Rivieres. We will take a walking tour of the public art installations and monuments around the city. We’ll take a sunset dinner cruise right from the Trois Rivieres port.

We’ll proceed along the old Kings Route to Montreal. Costumed guides will describe the life in this region during the 17th and 18th Centuries. Our farewell luncheon will be a local favorite, smoked meat sandwiches and poutine (fries covered with brown gravy and cheese curds.)
